A new blog, a new post, a new goal!

Thanks for coming over from my previous blog.  I figured it was finally time to add son #2 to the blog title, especially since son #2 is 16 months old. Better late than never, right?  My #1 main purpose in blogging is to be a "scrapbook" or journal of our everyday life.  I started blogging in 2007. Each year I print our blog into a book. Oh how I treasure those books.  When I look back at our family blog books I laugh, cry, and wonder what in the world were we doing.  Last year, 2011 I did not blog like normal. Granted, I had a newborn but I am disappointed that I don't have record of our daily life in 2011. I know I can always go back and back date posts but I figured instead of dwelling on my shortcomings I am going to jump ahead and focus on being our family's memory keeper in 2013. I've had a couple issues but I think the kinks are worked out.

First of all, I have an AWESOME new BLOG design! Thank you Andrea with Slightly Askew Designs. I love the new look!

Second of all, I have finally updated my FAVORITE blog links.  Some of them are my very best friends, others are friends of friends blogs, and some are perfect strangers that I have come to "love" in the blog world.

So that's about all. I will be back soon to add photos, stories, and family events...hopefully tomorrow!
